The smoothly swept claws were borrowed from Vaughan’s “999” Rip Hammer.  the extra large striking face. hatchet eye  sturdy handle are a heritage of the Rigbuilder’s Hatchet. The hatchet style handle is best grade. second growth hickory. To provide extra strength. the handle has a large cross section where it joins the fully polished head. Mill waffle face on framing hammer. Rust-resistant powder coat finish. Hickory hardwood handle.   Made in USA.
